After my fun taxi ride to the Athens airport, I had a smooth flight to Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis) (a.k.a., AIRPORT #10). I’ll be living in Crete, in the small village of Prasas, for three weeks. I’ve rented an apartment from a fantastic couple — Pamela & Emmanuel.
Emmanuel picked me up from the airport and this gorgeous plate (and Pamela) were awaiting me, upon arrival in Prasas. After that perfectly Greek welcome and getting settled in, I enjoyed coffee and cake with my hosts and fellow visitor/neighbor for the week, Julia.
Julia has already been here for a couple of weeks and seems to have a handle on getting around. She has already tried out a yoga studio in Heraklion and we have plans to go together soon! OM + OPA!
