For her birthday, my mom wanted to take me to one of her favorite local spots, the Miller Nature Preserve. It’s one of the many greenhouse projects in Northeastern Ohio – housing a collection of butterflies, roses, orchids, and other botanical loveliness.
I really don’t tend to be impressed with the dining options typically found at museums, gardens, and other similar attractions, but it was her birthday, it was lunch time, so sure. As it turns out, The Orchid Room Cafe was seriously delicious. We ordered two different — and equally fantastic — vegetarian sandwiches and split them. I can see why she likes this place and would definitely come back. If for nothing else, a little more fun in the Rose Garden. (Who am I kidding? I’m not leaving without a veggie wrap!)
