As I sit in a London café, working and gazing out the window, I consider the fact that it gets dark incredibly early here (4:00 p.m.) and decide that that’s very depressing for those who live here. I realize that I am totally in love with all of the little British kids (ages 3 and 4 years old) who roll along the sidewalk (on their little scooters) beside their mothers (Independent kids rock!). And then, “Let it Snow” comes on the radio and a group of young Italians at a nearby table begin to sing along. Happy moments.
