This evening, Julia and I thought it would be fun to take the three mile walk down the hill, to a restaurant we spotted by the sea. Even though it’s too cold to fully enjoy the beach, we took a little bit of time to walk along the water before dinner. Crete is very dependent upon summer-time tourists. It is not currently summer. So there are a lot of shops and restaurants that are closed for the winter (most, in fact). But, the one we spotted is open – and we’re the only guests. We got the best table looking out at the beach along with great, personalized service.
