As I mentioned in Part 1, today I took a day-trip to Granada. The primary feature of the trip, was a guided tour of The Alhambra, a Moorish palace in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and the adjacent Generalife Gardens.
While the skies are blue and the sun is shining, don’t be fooled. It is FREEZING. I’ve had to wear a lot of layers, gloves, etc. all day long, and I’m still feeling like an icicle. I have enjoyed seeing the sights of Granada, but the entire time, I have been very aware of the fact that everything would be much more pleasant, if accompanied by warmer weather. This teaches me something about myself. I am not interested enough in sightseeing to do it while shivering. Good to know.
