Let’s go on a whimsical journey into the realms of magical romance and heartwarming rom-coms. Of the 48 novels I read this year, these 16 delightful books weave tales of enchantment, love, laughter, and unexpected adventures.
Magical Romance that is Audiobook GOLD!
“A River Enchanted” welcomes readers into a cozy fantasy, filled with interesting characters, clan rivalries, and music that brings the elements to life. This charming tale of weavings and secrets sets the stage for an enchanting series. Even better than the first one, “A Fire Endless” is beautifully written, offering a captivating blend of love, adventure, mystery, and magic. I listened to the audiobook, perfectly narrated by Ruth Urquhart, for both of these and it made the experience come to life! Literally, my top two favorite audiobooks ever.
Worth mentioning, in a different series, by the same author, “Divine Rivals” immerses you in a world where divine forces clash, adding a touch of intrigue to the realm of magical romance. Such a fun read!
Romantic Comedy Books for Days
“Kismet” invites you into a delightful world of serendipity and humor, where unexpected connections and laugh-out-loud moments unfold.
“Love at First Psych” and “The Dead Romantics” explore the quirks of love in unexpected situations, infusing humor and romance into the everyday and beyond.
“The Road Trip” takes you on a journey filled with laughter, mishaps, and unexpected love, while “Lost and Found in Paris” and “With Love from London” offer romantic escapades in iconic European cities.
“You Had Me at Hola” goes behind the scenes of telenovelas, blending romance and humor in a delightful tale of unexpected connections in the entertainment industry.
“24 Hours in Paris” and “24 Hours in Italy” offer charming locations as the backdrop for romance, adventure, misunderstanding, and laughter.
Three books, set in the same town, with cross-over characters: “Adult Assembly Required” provides a humorous take on adulting, relationships, and self-discovery. “The Bookish Life of Nina Hill” combines the love of books with a charming romantic tale, though the male love interest left me questioning the compatibility of this bookish duo, I truly enjoyed it. “The Garden of Small Beginnings” explores love and growth in unexpected places, with a delightful backdrop of gardening and community.
“Evvie Drake Starts Over” introduces a heartfelt story of starting anew, filled with relatable characters and the magic of new beginnings. Five stars on this one! From the same author, “Flying Solo” is a journey of self-discovery, offering a delightful rom-com experience.
